Ermis Adamantidis received his education in AUTH Greece, RWTH Aachen and holds a postgraduate MSc in Adaptive Architecture and Computation from Bartlett school of Architecture. His research focused on custom digital fabrication in architecture and was presented at the FABRICATE 2011 international conference in London. He gained experience at the practice of Foster+Partners in London and Madrid where he had the chance to be involved in a wide range of projects around the globe including Al Haram Mosque extension in Makkah, Gwanggyo Towers in Seoul and Heathrow East Terminal in London. Ermis' academic work and research has been awarded a place in numerous publications and exhibitions around Europe including the 3rd Biennale in Barcelona, Media Festival in Florence, MediaCity in Weimar and Europrix in Graz. He is co-founder of NaNA architectural studio.

Theodora Christoforidou studied architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Diploma in Architecture) and at the IAAC (Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia) where she received her Master in Architecture. In 2007 she received together with her colleague Abel Patacho a mention in the international competition “Environmental Tectonics Competition” . In 2008 she won as a member of a team the second prize in the international architectural competition “D. Areopagitou 2008: reformation of the rear views of historic buildings at 17 and 19, Areopagitou Street”. In the year 2007-2008 she worked in Barcelona in two big Spanish architectural offices (“Guallart Architects” and “Congoritme”). She is interested in exploring how the environmental parameters can be implemented in the design process. Currently she is working as a member of Arcanoid Architects, based in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Dominiki Dadatsi finished her studies as an architectural engineer at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with honors in June, 2005. Part of her studies were completed at Paris Nantere X (Department of Urban planning and spatial development), in Paris, as a scholar of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2007 she got her masters degree, titled Parametric urbanism - Adaptive Ecologies (MArch in Architecture & Urbanism _AADRL), at the Architectural Association in London. She has been a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) since October, 2005. She has won prizes at international competitions (EVOLO skyscraper international architectural competition, WA Community 20+10+X Architecture Awards) and her work has been repeatedly published by the international press (AD, The Architect’s Journal, Models, Archicreation, Wettbewerbe Aktuell, L’ Arca, Tatlin etc). She has participated in international architectural exhibitions and conferences (“index_arch[gr]”- EASA , “Non-Specific Urbanism” - ICA, DRL Ten , S.H.O.W - AA) . During the years 2007-2010 she worked as an architect at “Zaha Hadid Architects” in London, on industrial design, building and urban scale projects. She currently is collaborating with ΚΤΙΡΙΟ and Close up magazines, writing architectural and design articles. Her research interests are focused on digital design process, using analog and digital material systems.

Anastasia Fragkoudi was born on January 1981 in Thessaloniki, Greece. On March 2006 she graduated from the School of Architecture of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2008 she obtained her Master Degree in Advanced Architecture at the Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (Iaac), Universidad Politecnica de Catalunya. During her master’s education program she took part in workshops and research programs coordinated by Iaac. In July 2008 she participated in the Venice Biennale Workshop_Hyperhabitat_ Reprogramming the World coordinated by Iaac, where she was involved in the design of an installation exhibited in the Venice Biennale 2008. She has been practicing architecture for the last 3 years working in architectural firms and construction companies designing private residencies, industrial, office and public buildings.

Dimitris Gourdoukis is a PhD Candidate at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, where he is teaching classes on digital media and design. He studied architecture at Washington University in St. Louis (Master in Architecture, with Honors, 2007) and at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Diploma in Architecture, with Honors, 2004). He was a Lecturer at Washington University, where he taught core digital media, advanced digital media and digital fabrication classes. In 2006 he founded object-e architecture, as a research platform on issues of architecture, computation and experimental design. He has won prizes in numerous international competitions (Steedman 2010, D.Areopagitou 2008, WINYC 2008, SUS 2007, St Louis Follies 2007, Komvos 2004) His work has received several awards (WA Awards 2008, Surface AvantGuardian 2007, WUSTL Drawing Award 2007, KRob 2006) and has been published, exhibited and presented at conferences internationally. Dimitris is a Principal Architect at Arcanoid, Thessaloniki. He was a Design Associate at Axi:Ome, St Louis from 2005 to 2008.

Fani Natou graduated from the architecture school of the Aristotle University with honors in March, 2006. Part of her studies were completed at Ecole d’ architecture de Nancy in France, as a scholar of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. . She has been a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) since August, 2006. In 2007 she got her masters degree, titled Self-Sufficient Habitat at the Institute of Advanced Architecture (IAAC) in Barcelona. She has won prizes at international competitions (“aqua cells” - Environmental Tectonics competition - Architectural Association School of London 2007, “parasites”- 2nd Bienale of Architecture and Landscape of the Canary Islands 2008) and her work has been published by the international press (“Environmental Tectonics: Forming Climatic Change”, “Architettura et sostenibilitat”). Since 2007 she has worked as an architect at the architectural offices: “on-a arquitectura”, “Myaa-arq” and “f451- arquitectura” in Barcelona and “Sakellaridou. Papanikolaou architects” in Thessaloniki.

Yota Piperidou finished her studies as an architectural engineer at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki with honors in November, 2005. Part of her studies were completed at the Technical University of Prague, as a scholar of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. In 2007 she got her masters degree, titled Self-Sufficient Habitat at the Institute of Advanced Architecture (IAAC) in Barcelona. She has been a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE) since April, 2006. At the 2nd Bienale of Architecture and Landscape of the Canary Islands, she won the third prize of the competition titled “Parasites”. Her work has been published by the international press (“Arquine Magazine” and “Architettura et sostenibilitat”). Since 2007 she has worked as an architect at the architectural offices: “Congoritme architects”, “Myaa-arq” in Barcelona and is currently collaborating with “Schema4 architects” on Public and Private use projects. Her research interests are focused on adaptable self sufficient systems, using digital design processes.

Katerina Tryfonidou is an architect and designer who lives and practices in Thessaloniki , Greece. She studied architecture at the GSD, Harvard University (Masters in Design Studies,) at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Diploma in Architecture with Honors) and Ecole d’Architecture de Toulouse (exchange student program.) She has worked as an architect at Cannon Design, USA and at Axi:ome, USA. Katerina was Adjunct Lecturer at Washington University in St. Louis for two years, where she taught design studio at the undergraduate program. She has presented papers in numerous international conferences and participated in various workshops as tutor. Currently she is a design principal at Arcanoid Architects, a collaborative studio which focuses on commissioned projects.

Fotis Vasilakis studied architecture at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (Diploma in Architecture) and at the IAAC (Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia) where he received his Master in Architecture. He has participated in architectural competitions and exhibitions receiving several mentions and awards. In 2008 he won as a member of a team the second prize in the international architectural competition “D. Areopagitou 2008: reformation of the rear views of historic buildings at 17 and 19, Areopagitou Street”. In the year 2007-2008 he worked in Barcelona as a freelancer. He is interested in exploring the modern processes of design (bottom-up process, parametric design) and trying to enrich them with environmental parameters. Since 2008 he is teaching 3d software to the private educational school “CAD Studies”. Currently he is working as a member of Arcanoid Architects, based in Thessaloniki, Greece.
